|Dahlia Katz - Director||Dahlia Katz is a director-dramaturg who includes both naturalistic and experimental visual and physical modes of performance in all her work. She feels that theatre is a fundamentally visual experience, and focuses her efforts into delivering the most compelling imagery her resources can offer, and as are appropriate to the play. As a multidisciplinary artist, she has roots in puppetry performance and construction, improvised playmaking, mask, biographic literature, performance art and performativity and semiotics.
Dahlia is currently serving as co-Artistic Director at Solar Stage, where she directed Alex in Wonderland, Memorable Munsch, and Snow White in 2015. At least year's Toronto Fringe, she directed the sold-out hit, Slut, the winner of the Mirvish Award.
|Kathleen Hemsworth - Stage Manager||A recent graduate from York University's Theatre Production program, Kathleen can often be found in stationary stores looking for supplies for her incurable passion; stage managing in Toronto's indie theatre scene. She also enjoys working in other theatrical management capacities such as Front of House and Production. A select few of her previous credits include: The Nine Mile Portage (Theatre by the Bay), Heretic (Soup Can Theatre), Much Ado About Nothing (Single Thread Theatre Company) and Better Angels: A Parable (New Ideas Festival).|
|Yehuda Fisher - Lighting Designer||Yehuda Fisher is stoked to be a part of his first show with the Bay Street Performers! An actor, director, singer and designer who was born and raised in Toronto, Yehuda has trained at YorkU, Second City, and studied with wonderful teachers from all parts of the industry. Recent design work includes: lighting design for The Art of Traditional Head Tying (Coal Pot), All In The Timing (Miller's Son/From the Oven); sound design for SLUT (Beer in a Glass); sound editing for Faraway Friend (St Clair Basement), and Ex Gratia (Open Mode); sound and lighting design for The Eagle With 2 Heads (Fish2Fry), Meet Cute (ent2/v.tav), as well as Dead Zone, Red, and SwingSet (InspiraTO festival), and The Woolgatherer (KD Productions) which he also directed. Yehuda is the resident lighting designer at Solar Stage Children's Theatre, having worked on Beauty and the Geek, and Snow White this past season. Yehuda is also the Founder and Artistic Producer of Panfish Productions, a company focused on Sociopolitically relevant Canadian theatre.
|Jackie McClelland - Set Designer ||Jackie is a set and props designer specializing in period work for both theatre and film. She recently acted as production designer for High School Health, a short film and installation project for the Luminato Festival starring Atom Egoyan and Ann-Marie MacDonald. Selected theatre credits include: The 39 Steps (Gin Soak’d Productions); Jesus Christ Superstar, The Tempest (Hart House Theatre); The Land of Promise (Theatre Double Take); Hairspray, RENT (Lower Ossington Theatre); Escape From Happiness (Alumnae Theatre).|
